Update
This past week I have been reading through the fire codes, life safety codes, and ADA codes and working with my floor plan to make sure I pass all codes. It has been a struggle trying to place ramps and fire stairs into my small building. I believe I may have found a way to not have to put a second stair well in my second floor which is only 2,500 sq. ft. by creating a fire escape off the back part of the roof. I am waiting to move forward on this decision till I ask the fire marshall on Wednesday if this can be done.I have also been looking through furnishings and finishings for my project so I can have a better grasp of what space allowances I will need for my seating in my auditorium.
